La mafia qui sévissait au Centre de contrôle technique des véhicules automobiles sis aux Maristes, à Dakar, a été démantelée. Douze (12) individus dont des agents ont été déférés au parquet depuis le 15 janvier dernier, à la suite d’une enquête menée par la Sûreté urbaine (SU).
Il s’agit de Ibrahima Seck (poseur de Plaques), Matar Soumaré (mécanicien), Fallou Wade (vendeur de pièces détachées), Mamadou Ndongo (agent au centre de contrôle technique) Samba Sarr Sambou alias « Sakho » (électricien), Ibrahima Khalil Ndiaye (informaticien), Moustapha Wade (sans emploi), Ibrahima Mbaye (démarcheur), Mor Diop (sans emploi), Ibra Mbacké Mbaye (démarcheur), Mor Diop (poseur de plaques), Khadim Gaye (poseur de plaques).
Selon Libération qui donne l’information, tout est parti d’une alerte donnée le 10 janvier, par le ministère des Infrastructures, des Transports terrestres et du Désenclavement sur une anarchie notée au niveau du centre technique du service des mines. Le ministère a fait état d’individus qui squattaient les abords, proposant aux usagers la possibilité de contourner la file d’attente moyennant une somme de 15 mille F CFA. Ceci avec la complicité de certains agents.
Mieux, une vidéo amateur, à travers laquelle apparaissait un des agents du centre en question nommé Mamadou Ndongo ainsi que d’autres individus qui faisaient des tractations et échangeaient suspicieusement devant le centre, a été mise à la disposition des enquêteurs.
M. Ndongo a été immédiatement saisi. A l’annonce de son interpellation, un des mis en cause Djiby Thiandoum Fall s’est présenté à la Su pour avouer avoir remis à ce dernier la somme de 208.0000 F cfa devant servir à la prise de rendez-vous de 13 camions appartenant à la Somicoa.
Ils sont poursuivis pour « associations de malfaiteurs et corruption ».
